About

Movienylons came about as the result of something I have been thinking about for many years.

As a massive fan of stockings - particularly the seamed variety I always used to keep an eye out for them in movies and on the TV, after joining another site called stockingshq.com I saw that there were other people out there who shared the same passion as me - plus there were a huge number of films and TV programmes where the stars / actresses wore stockings.

I started to collate a list of all of these and decided upon the idea of launching my own site dedicated to that. So I started the site a couple of years ago, but due to work commitments etc the site kind of did nothing for nearly two years. During this time I also started a few other sites dedicated to some celebs who I was a big fan of - Sharon Marshall and Dita Von Teese and also ran a stockings sightings site for a while as well.

Unsurprisingly it became a bit of a nightmare running all these different sites so I decided to bring them together under the one umbrella of movienylons.com and so the site you see today was born.

The growth of video sharing sites such as Youtube and Google video has also really helped as there are a huge amount of clips available online all of which I wanted to bring together for you in one place.

So here we are, the purpose of the site is really simple - to be the single resource online where people can find information about mainstream films and TV programmes where you can spot stockings - coupled with this we are going to bring you all the content we can find on celebs who are spotted wearing stockings - be that images, news or video and to top it all of reviews of stockings and also information on the 300 + sightings I have had during the times I can remember.

We really hope you enjoy the site - we certainly enjoy writing the content and keeping the site upto date - please join and also add your comments and information to the reviews we have done - it is all welcome.
