The carry on films of the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s were (along with the St Trinians films) usually a fairly good source of the odd glimpse of stockings! None better IMO than Carry On Doctor.
Starring the incredibly bubbly and sexy Barbara Windsor she plays the role of Nurse Sandra May and the opening sequence of the film is just superb as she comes tottering out of the nurses accomodation and heads towards the hospital - there are two awesome shots of her legs - the best for me as she heads up the hospital steps and you see her cuban healed fully fashioned stockings in all their glory!
This clip is as I said my favourite one in the whole of the carry on series! - I love the scene and love the part Barbara Windsor plays in these films - I would love to know is she is / has been a regular stockings wearer!
Sharon Marshall - Another famous stockings wearer

We at movienylons are a massive fan of Sharon Marshall, for a long time now Sharon has been a known stockings wearer - in fact going one step further and wearing seamed stockings regularly - and has been spotted on many occasions wearing seamed stockings on her spot on This Morning on ITV in the UK.
We will be bringing you a lot of videos and images over the coming weeks that we have of Sharon but in the meantime we wanted to bring you this.
Here Sharon Marshall appears on Big Brothers little brother - you need to watch closely but towards the end of the video you can spot the top of Sharons fishnet hold ups! - awesome
We love you Sharon and we don’t see enough of you on TV - we also understand you are struggling to find a fella! - well we for one don’t have a clue why - you are gorgeous!

Sue Lawley - Saturday Matters

Not sure how many of you remember this programme, but back in the early 1990’s following a successful stint of standing in for Terry Wogan on his evening chat show, Sue Lawley started her own chat show called Saturday Matters.
Now I had always wondered if Sue was a stockings wearer - she always used to wear fairly short skirts with black hosiery and has awesome legs! anyway she started Saturday Matters and the opening sequence showed ‘Sue’ getting ready for the show with her then walking out of the door at the end of the opening credits - with her legs encased in a pair of point heel fully fashioned stockings!
I have been looking for a clip of this for years and have now finally have found it on Youtube - funnily enough! - the actual clip is of an interview which is not at all relevant to this post - the most important thing for me is the opening credits and those awesome legs.
Now at a later interview Sue was asked if these were her legs - which she said they were not - but still a great start to a programme and in my mind they will always be Sue’s legs!
The quality is not great I am afraid - so if anyone else has this on video then I would love a copy
Alison Keenan - stocking tops flash

Alison Keenan is one hot lady - here is a great video of her flashing her stocking tops whilst on screen with QVC. She has not been flashing much recently so it has been a bit of a dissapointment but still this should keep you going for a while!
I will keep posting these, as I said she is one hot lady with awesome legs - rumour has it she was wearing seams a while back but I have yet to find the video!
Ashes to Ashes | Keeley Hawes in Lace top stockings

The very very very sexy Keeley Hawes stars in the new BBC series Ashes to Ahses which is the follow on from a series called Life on Mars. She is trasnported back to 1981 from the modern day and in this clip can be seen wearing some incredibly sexy lace top stockings!
I love these series as they take us back to a time when ladies wore stockings much more regularly than they do these days and this will be very evident in this series - although I am not convinced lace top stockings were that much in evidence at that time!
Anyway enjoy this clip from the beginning of the series when she first gets transported back - some lovely stocking top shots!

What a great series this was - Kim Hartman and Vicki Michelle in their glorious best - i.e. stockings and suspenders!!!

You can guess what happens - but it is great none the less and I have to say Kim Hartman has awesome legs!
