Review:
An American soldier stationed in England during World War II begins a relationship with a London showgirl. She is intigued with the mobster lifestyle and he finds himself under her seductive powers despite the fact that he is also dating a more upscale, proper English woman, and already has a life back in America. The couple slowly begin a streak of petty crimes which include the theft of an army vehicle and a fur coat, and eventually escalate to the murder of a London cab driver.

Set in the 1950’s this is a relatively poor film only improved by the stockings that can be seen in the film!

Review:
Murderesses Velma Kelly (a chanteuse and tease who killed her husband and sister after finding them in bed together)and Roxie Hart (who killed her boyfriend when she discovered he wasn’t going to make her a star) find themselves on death row together and fight for the fame that will keep them from the gallows in 1920s Chicago.

Review:

Review:
Wouldn’t suit all tastes, but if you like it you’ll love it. A very gentle, very English humour with many wonderful throwaway lines. Strongly recommend. Sara Crowe is outstanding in the part of a girl totally hung-up on a theatrical agent, and Annette Badland and Nadia Sawalha are equally good supporting her as the long-suffering friends. Leslie Phillips plays an excellent music teacher/musician and there are some excellent scenes where he is trying to help the girls write their song. However, the piece de resistance for me was the song at the end - the acting, as well as the song, together with the reactions of the audience, make excellent viewing.

A great family film but the highlight is Sara Crowe sporting a lovely set of stockings

Review:
Middle-aged Gerald Kingsland advertises in a London paper for a female companion to spend a year with him on a desert island. The young Lucy Irving takes a chance on contacting him and after a couple of meetings they decide to go ahead. Once on the island things prove a lot less idyllic than in the movies, and gradually it becomes clear that it is Lucy who has the desire and the strength to try and see the year through.

Review:
A top secret chemical formula has been stolen by STENCH (the Society for the Total Extinction of Non-Conforming Humans), and so Agent Simpkins and his three trainees are hot on the trail, chasing the villains across the world. There are gadgets galore, and disguises are compulsory if the heroes are to win the day from The Fat Man, Dr Milchman and Dr Crow!

Another great carry on farce, the scene with Barbara Windsor is when the spy team get ‘processed’ through the machines and it strips off her skirt and top to reveal stockings and suspenders - seamed as well if I remember correctly

Review:
The popular Dr Kilmore is sacked after being discovered in a compromising position on the roof of the nurses’ home. The patients are determined not to lose him, and so take on the might of the “cutting” Dr Tinkle and the overpowering Matron.
The Stocking Scenes:
Best scene in the film is right near the beginning when Barbara Windsor comes tottering over to the hospital from her accomodation and walks past the ambulance men - as the camera shows her walking away she is sporting a pair of black cuban heeled fully fashioned stockings. Later in the film as well she can be seen taking them off - absolutely fantastic.
